Inflatables Rain Policy

PartyTime Rentals has been in the party and event rental industry for over 10 years.  We know how unpredictable Mother Nature can be and we wouldn’t expect you to pay for her unpredictability!  Because of this, our weather policy is one that our customers have been satisfied with since we first started in this business. 

If you have a scheduled delivery of an inflatable but it is raining on the morning of your event, we will call you early in the morning to speak with you and come to a decision as to whether or not you still want to have your inflatable delivered.  If you decide to cancel your delivery due to the rain, we will refund you 100% of any money paid toward that inflatable rental.  Many times, our customers will reschedule their party.  If that’s the case, instead of a refund, we simply reschedule your delivery for a different date.  If for some reason, the inflatable attraction that you had reserved is not available for your new date, we will supply you with a comparable attraction.  Sometimes our customers end up with a larger, more expensive inflatable for the same price!  Keep in mind, however, that once we deliver your inflatable to you, it is yours to enjoy regardless of the weather and we do not offer any refunds.

We understand that if you need to cancel your party due to weather, you need to make that decision as early in the morning as possible.  That is why we offer 24 hour customer service.  If it is raining and you need to cancel but you haven’t received a call from us yet, you can pick up the phone and reach a manager at any time of the morning.  Weather is a tricky thing.  Sometimes it could be bright and sunny at our facility but only 10 miles away it’s dark and raining and we don’t know it!  Getting in touch with us if you need to cancel due to the weather is the responsibility of the customer.  Please do not assume that because it is pouring rain that we aren’t on our way to you with your delivery!

Remember that summer time in our area is famous for scattered showers and isolated thunder storms so if it is lightly drizzling or the local weather service is calling for scattered storms throughout the day, we will still deliver to you.  An inflatable attraction can still operate in the rain and a passing shower does nothing more than wet the unit.  If that happens, DO NOT DEFLATE THE UNIT!!!  Simply wait for the storm to pass, wipe down the unit with a towel and continue with the fun! While that is our Inflatables rain policy, it is always important that you exercise caution when operating an inflatable and should always air on the side of caution and deflate the unit if you have any doubt on what to do.
